Yes. MJHR provides residents with kosher meals and snacks. The Nosh-A-Rye Deli is open to the public for lunch Monday through Friday. Non-kosher food may be brought in by family and enjoyed in a patient's room or the family lounge.
The business office is available to assist with financial matters relating to the resident. MJHR accepts private payment and participates in both Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement programs. If you have any questions concerning methods of payment, please contact the business office at 901-758-0036.
You may visit anytime you choose. There are no set visiting hours.
No. We welcome residents of all faiths. Although we are a Jewish facility and adhere to Jewish tradition, our non-Jewish residents enjoy weekly nondenominational Christian services provided by local clergy.

Yes. We offer respite services for up to 10 days. Please call our admissions office at 901-756-3239, and we’ll guide you through this process.
We have an on-site, full-service beauty salon, Clippers and Curlers, which offers hair and manicure services. MJHR also has several gardens, a deli, comfortable indoor visiting areas, a family lounge that can be reserved for small gatherings, and a big screen TV for group movie watching.
We host a wide array of activities that vary from day to day. A few of our more popular activities are bingo, pet therapy, and trivia, along with parties and celebrations. Please check our latest activity calendar for more details.

Jewish services are held on Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings, as well as on all Jewish holidays. Nondenominational Christian services are held once a week.

Yes. Our Restorative Nursing staff provides supervised exercise, using a variety of specialized equipment. Family is welcome to observe anytime.
