At Memphis Jewish Home & Rehab, we create an environment that celebrates the changing face of aging and focuses on life, not disability. It is a place to grow, not to merely grow old. We are a thriving, empowered community, where compassion and caring are the cornerstones of our commitment to the uniqueness and talent of each individual.

Rich History, Bright Future
Founded as a nursing home in 1927 as the B’nai B’rith Home for the Aged, Memphis Jewish Home & Rehab was originally located at 131 North Tucker St. in Midtown Memphis. By the 1950’s, the Home was incorporated as a nonprofit and set out on a bold capital campaign to build a new modern facility in 1967.
In 1992, the organization moved to our current location in Cordova, Tennessee and was renamed the Memphis Jewish Home. Located in a 77-acre park-like campus, the facility has 165,000 square feet of space with 160 beds, all within a warm, welcoming setting. We added a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in 2008, and selected our current moniker: Memphis Jewish Home & Rehab.
