Get Your Start in Healthcare Today
Certified Nursing Assistants (C.N.A.’s) are the backbone of our healthcare system, yet there is a widespread lack of qualified assistants in the field. At Memphis Jewish Home & Rehab, we are proud to offer a free training program to all eligible students in the Mid-South area to help them get their start in healthcare.
Curriculum
We’ve developed a curriculum that will prepare you for your certification test and on the job:
Classroom Instruction
On-Site Clinical Hours
Qualified Instructors
Test Preparation
Group and Individual Learning
Experience with Rehab and Skilled Nursing
To learn more about the Home, please see the About Us page or come in during business hours for a tour of the facility.
Program Overview
Our CNA Training Program is completely free for eligible students in the Mid-South area. It takes place over the course of four weeks, Monday-Friday from 8:30am to 3:00pm. Classes meet on-site at Memphis Jewish Home & Rehab where you will receive a mix of classroom and real-world instruction. Class sizes depend on our application cycle, but typically range between 5-15 students.
The instructor will also help you schedule your certification test, and if you receive your certification, you will be eligible for a position at MJHR.
